Hi! I’m Sara—the heart, hands, and colors behind Swirls & Sweeps.

 Swirls & Sweeps was born from a curiosity and love for a new creative expression—painting!

Dance has always been my “Soul speak.” I consider myself a lifelong dancer, but in 2022, I discovered painting during my first-ever painting retreat. The experience was more than I could have imagined—it was healing, peaceful, meditative, playful, and deeply fun.

One of my favorite moments was when I realized my brush was dancing across the canvas. I had found movement in an entirely new form.

Art from the Soul

It’s incredible how emotions rise and lessons unfold when paint meets canvas. My Soul expresses itself through colors, shapes, and patterns—especially in abstract styles. I let the brush go wherever my Soul leads it.

That’s how “Swirls & Sweeps” was born.

While showing a painting to my husband, I casually said,
“I just love doing the swirls and sweeps…”
I paused and thought, “Hey, that would be a great name for this creative journey!”
And here we are!

My approach is simple: gentle guidance, playful exploration, and a focus on the process—not perfection. Whether it’s a themed paint party, a soulful Heart’s Canvas session, or a community gathering, I create experiences that let you express yourself freely while having fun.
